The studio, excluding Pilates classes which are always ongoing, will be closed on the following dates:
- Sept. 6th - Labor Day
- Nov. 22-27 - Thanksgiving Break
- Dec. 14 - Jan 9th - Christmas/Holiday Break
- Feb. 14 - 19 - Mid-winter Break
- April 22 - 28 - Spring Break
Other than these prescheduled closures and unforseen weather closures, we are continuously open for dance and pilates classes. We do not follow the schools' closure schedule. We will however, close off letting new students in to classes by October 1, 2010 for the 2010/2011 season. Anyone not registered for the 2010/2011 season by October 1st will not be allowed to perform in the 2011 recital.
Viewing Days
Most dance classes will have three Viewing Days throughout the year. Tentatively set for the week before Halloween, the final week before our Christmas break, and the week before Spring Break. These Viewing Day classes are meant for students to bring 2-3 friends or family members to class to view what they have been working on.
Nursing Home Performances
Pre-Kinder through Adagio level students may be given the opportunity to participate in a Holiday performance at one of three local Nursing Home facilities that we may visit during the first few weeks in December. These performances are not mandatory, but proves to be a wonderful opportunity to expose our little ones to performing in front of an audience. Further details will be available closer to December.
Annual Registration Fee
All students must pay an annual registration fee. Most students pay it during Fall registration. If you are due for the registration fee, you may receive a discount by using your SIAM card. Visit the Lincoln-Way Boosters SIAM website to find out how you can purchase a card.
